Freeze the requirement before price

Write occupancy, the code edition you believe applies, and whether the building is temporary. Add footprint, interior height, and the room layout. If wind, snow, or seismic numbers are unknown, say so. A supplier who assumes a design basis should label the assumption instead of folding it into a single total.

Primary framing, floor structure, roof and wall assemblies, doors, windows, interior finishes, electrical rough-in, plumbing rough-in, and HVAC can each be in or out. Foundations, stairs, canopies, utility connections, permits, installation, and commissioning need their own yes or no. Ask for the manufacturer and system name, drawings or data sheets, material specifications, and any certificate or test report the supplier says applies. Check that the paper names the same plant, the same assembly, and the same jurisdiction.
