Ramtech building systems alternatives for modular sourcing

KeystoneGate Sourcing helps a business buyer turn that brand-led search into one neutral brief for modular and portable buildings. The desk is not the referenced company, does not sell that company’s buildings, and does not publish a price. Start with the six checks below, then ask factories to quote the same written scope.

What the desk checks before any factory is asked

A brand name does not state floor area, corridor width, or the code edition. These six notes are the minimum that lets two quotations sit on one matrix. They are buying checks, not a claim that a plant has already been visited.

01

Separate the search from the specification

Record the product family you want compared, then replace slogans with occupancy, clear dimensions, and the service life the site actually needs.

02

Name the construction method

Say whether you are comparing volumetric modular construction, a panelized floor and wall package, or a relocatable unit that must move again.

03

Write the design basis

Ask for the wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load, and seismic design category the supplier used, or mark those lines as still open.

04

Split the commercial scope

A shell, a delivered module, an installed building, and a turnkey package are different totals. Keep freight, tax, foundation, and utilities on their own lines.

05

Ask which document applies

IBC, IRC, HUD Code, ASCE 7, and a quality manual are not interchangeable. Request the sheet that matches the quoted system, the plant, and the project jurisdiction.

06

Leave the award with the buyer

KeystoneGate Sourcing can organize questions and quotations. Code acceptance, stamping, and the contract stay with you and the professionals you appoint.

Inquiry options in this modular cluster

The cards below are ways to start a brief. They are not inventory, not a promise of availability, and not a statement that any unit matches a named brand’s geometry. Open a card to place the product name into the requirement dialog, then add dimensions yourself.

Volumetric module with finished interior corridor visible through an open door

Volumetric Modular Building

Use this card when most of the room, corridor, and interior finish is meant to arrive as a box. Confirm module dimensions, the lifting points, the crane lift plan, and whether the floor cassette is in the supplier’s scope. A volumetric quote that excludes the mate-line seals is not the same number as a set building.

Single-story portable project office with a metal stair and window band

Portable Project Office

State headcount, meeting rooms, data rooms, and whether the unit must be relocated after the project. Ask who owns skirting, ramps, and the foundation interface.

Relocatable classroom module with a covered entry and accessible ramp

Relocatable Classroom Module

Record student capacity only as your program number, plus exit width, acoustic expectations, and the thermal transmittance the jurisdiction asks you to show.

Applications that change the brief

Scroll the row and keep the use that matches the site. Each label is a prompt for requirements, not a completed case study and not a customer count.

Site office cluster beside a fenced laydown yard

Site offices

Shift pattern, meeting load, and how long the pad stays available.

Classroom wing of relocatable modules along a paved walk

Education swing space

Exit paths, restrooms, and the term calendar that sets the delivery window.

Modular clinic block with a covered ambulance approach

Clinic swing space

Medical gases and imaging are separate scopes until a supplier includes them.

Welfare units with a dining module on a remote site

Welfare and camps

Bed count, kitchens, and wastewater stay explicit or they disappear from the price.

Municipal temporary office beside a civic parking lot

Civic temporary space

Public access, accessibility route, and the permit path for a short occupancy.

Retail shell module with a blank storefront opening

Retail shell

Storefront, floor load for fixtures, and who finishes the interior after set.
